WWE Shares a Rare and Viral Clip of Jey Uso Dancing With His Father Rikishi Before the Biggest Match of His Career at SummerSlam

SummerSlam is just around the corner and plenty of fans are excited to see the action on the biggest event of the summer. The event will be home to some much-awaited matches as well. One of them would be the main event of the night. Jey Uso will be facing his cousin in the ultimate face-off. The two had been feuding for a long time. Now, The Bloodline has completely shattered as Roman Reigns‘ biggest competition comes from within the family.

Apart from the wrestlers themselves, WWE is also making an effort to keep the excitement of the event alive. In a recent Instagram post, the promotion gave fans access to rare footage showing Jey Uso in a completely different setting way before getting the biggest match of his career.

WWE attempts to make Jey Uso go viral before his big match

Before Jey Uso gets to take his shot at his cousin in the ring, it appears that WWE wants to gather more audience for him. The wrestling company shared rare footage of the Samoan wrestler on their Instagram page. In the wholesome clip, we can see Jey ‘vibing’ alongside his twin Jimmy Uso and father Rikishi. Since The Tribal Chief is nowhere to be seen in the clip, WWE could be trying to gather more support for his younger cousin.

The video is from the year 2002 where the family is dancing for ‘WWE Confidential’. In the caption, the official handle of the promotion wrote, “Rare clip of ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso on a 2002 episode of WWE Confidential. Only 2 more days until Jey battles Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at [SummerSlam].”

Now that the match is only a couple of days away, let’s explore the possibility of what could end up happening in the ring when the two family members face each other.

Could Jey Uso pin Roman Reigns in the ultimate showdown?

An obvious outcome is that The Tribal Chief’s followers may be looking forward to him retaining his title and status. However, since Jey has already pinned the undisputed Universal Champion in a tag team at MITB this year, his chances of winning this time around could also be higher than we expect.

In fact, Reigns’ WrestleMania rival of this year, Cody Rhodes, even acknowledged the possibility of Jey Uso pinning Reigns for the title before him.
