Rhea Ripley had a great season premiere of Monday Night RAW. Despite not winning her scheduled match against Shayna Baszler, the Women’s World Champion had her moment to shine. The WWE also teased the audience with who could be her WrestleMania 40 opponent in a blink-and-you-‘ll-miss-it segment.
From a roster of women who all want a part of Ripley and her title, which lucky woman could be facing her at WrestleMania 40?
Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch have a stare-down

Before her match, while walking backstage, Ripley ran into none other than The Man, Becky Lynch. The two did not exchange words but just stared each other down. The Man just finished talking with Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae and offered Hartwell a title shot.
Even though the WWE did not officially announce who will face Ripley at WrestleMania 40, fans speculate it could be Lynch. The two have had differences in the past on NXT, even facing off on November 20, 2019.

While Lynch is an interesting choice, Jade Cargill is another name fans would like to see Ripley face. However, with her interaction with Charlotte Flair during the season premiere of SmackDown, fans are expecting Flair and Cargill to have a feud.

But before Ripley can get her hands on the current NXT Women’s Champion, she will have to ensure she comes out of Crown Jewel as the Women’s World Champion. Mami will defend her title in a Fatal-5-way match at the Saudi PLE.
Lynch and Ripley have their hands full
Ripley has to worry about the Fatal-5-Way match at Crown Jewel on November 4 2023. Meanwhile. Lynch went around assuring people if they wanted a shot at her title she would give it to them. Before running into Ripley, she was talking to Indi Hartwell, who wanted a shot at the title. Lynch assured her she would talk to the GM and make it happen.

Lynch has been on the initiative that the females of the WWE do not get much screen time, which does not give them a chance to rise up. This is why she has been open to anyone challenging her for her title. Lynch wants other female wrestlers to get to the level she is at.
