“Mr The Rock”: Braxton’s funny yet sweet encounter with Dwayne Johnson

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Kayla Braxton shared a heartwarming encounter with Dwayne Johnson. Despite feeling nervous, Braxton seized the moment and approached Johnson as he walked back to his bus. 

She said, “I thought, ‘Now’s your time,’ and I went up to him. I said, ‘Mr. The Rock.’ I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just called him Mr. The Rock,’ but he turned around, and we had like a five-minute conversation.” In this brief interaction, Johnson’s kindness and genuine nature left a lasting impression on Braxton. Reflecting on the encounter, Kayla Braxton highlighted Johnson’s unique talent for connecting with people. 

She later added, “He’s so good about making you feel like you’re the only person in the room. He looked me in the eye and asked questions about me.” Even though he had finished socializing, Johnson took the time to engage in a meaningful conversation.
