WWE is one of the leading sports entertainment and has been in the industry for a long time. Over the years, it has crafted and launched several superstars. While it created underdogs like Rey Mysterio, WWE is also credited for producing giants like, Big Show, Andre the Giant, and The Great Khali to name a few.

However, recently WWE brought and launched another new giant, Omos. During the initial phase of his career, Omos was paired with AJ Styles, with whom he won the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship. However, soon after he aligned with MVP, and recently faced Brock Lesnar at this year’s WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 39, Omos faced a loss at the hands of Brock Lesnar after dominating the match for the majority period. However, soon after ‘Mania was over, Omos was booked rapidly into another feud with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. His match against Rollins will take place at Backlash in Puerto Rico.

Recently, WWE legend Road Dogg took to his podcast, ‘Oh You Didn’t Know’ and complimented Omos, and compared him with the likes of Big Show and Andre the Giant. Road Dogg would heap praises on the Nigerian Giant, speaking highly of him.

What did Road Dogg say during his compliments on Omos?

Omos stands tall at 7’3″ and is a literal giant. His physical nature plays a vital role in the push he has received thus far. Although there have been certain shortcomings, WWE’s management seems keen on building the Nigerian Giant as a threat. Recently on his podcast, Road Dogg did not shy away from implementing his point on Omos.

He brought in Big Show and Andre the Giant for the comparison. He said, “He has more upside, to me, in my mind, and I know times are different and things are different than Andre, than Big Show than all these guys.”

Further, he continued complimenting Big Show but would stop and bring in Omos. He said, “Big Show is an incredible athlete. This guy is the same kind of athlete. He’s a really good athlete at that size. It’s really uncommon, and it’s really cool to see.”

Big Show left WWE in 2021 and went to AEW. He recently vent out his frustrations with WWE and spoke about the reason why he left. However, WWE is trying to book Omos to his full potential, and after facing The Beast Incarnate at ‘Mania, he is due to face The Visionary. Seth Rollins.

With a new world title being introduced, who knows what WWE has in store for Omos in the near future.
