WWE has always been a fairytale world to kids. They idolize the stars and try to imitate them in their lives. So the knack of being in the stars’ shoes never dies for young kids, regardless of their sporting background. It has also been made possible by WWE’s experimental ways of hiring.
Any other sport needs some knowledge and skill beforehand, but in the case of WWE, the company wants the masses to believe that novices can also rise to the status of a star through constant practice. There are a handful of superstars who hailed from a wide variety of backgrounds and still shined brightly as WWE stars. The renowned wrestlers from the athletic base include high-voltage names like Dwayne Johnson, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Chad Gable.
Johnson aspired to be a football player, but destiny played out differently. At the same time, Belair did extraordinary in track and field before hitting the ring. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam revealed the real reason behind Vince McMahon and Triple H taking an unorthodox policy in terms of talent recruitment.

Speaking to Chris Van Villet, RVD noted, ‘‘Every fan thinks they can do it and that seems to be more and more what they’re after, you know? Like with that all-inclusive whatever it is, it seems like they’re reaching out to get normal people like to get a skateboarder and a basketball player. It seems like athletes that are normal kids or whatever so that people do relate more and then people do think it’s easier and then everybody can do it.”
Speaking of RVD’s current status in wrestling, the WWE veteran made two recent appearances in Tony Khan’s promotion. But is retirement impending for the 52-year-old?

We all know that the term retirement has become a running meme in the world of WWE. There are multiple instances of legends coming out of their retirement for having one or two last dances inside the squared circle. Given that condition, RVD feels retirement is so downgraded nowadays that it won’t even bring him any value.

Mr. Monday Night revealed had earlier thought about hanging up his boots several times. But currently, he has completely given up on that idea. Now, we need to see what’s next for RVD after his two hit AEW outings.
