Following Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s sensational return to WWE on Monday Night RAW: Day 1, the anticipation of the much-desired Roman Reigns vs The Rock showdown has been further ignited for a reason.

Now, to add to the drama, The Rock’s forgotten cousin, Rikishi hinted at his potential role in the unofficial dream match via a shell-shocking tweet.

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi aims to make his presence known 

After handling the anti-American emotion spewed by Jinder Mahal with ease, The Rock himself ignited the rumor mill on his potential feud with Reigns asking fans directly whether he should take a seat at the “Head of the Table” or not. Not long after, his cousin Rikishi took to Twitter to ask a cryptic question.

While this question was too vague to guess about any intervention, what he posted tonight intended to clear the air.

He brought an old conversation with The Rock to the surface. In this clip, The Great One asked him to stay away from his business.

He posted it with a dropping blood emoji, a definite sign of something fishy. Only time will tell what WWE plans for the matchup down the line when it is made official.

When WWE will pitch the Roman Reigns vs The Rock feud?

There has already been a lot of back and forth regarding The Rock vs Roman Reigns since the inception of the former’s renewed WWE stint.

But despite all the hype, currently, the flow is going against the WrestleMania encounter. There is a certain logic to substantiate it.

The first and foremost of all is WWE’s urgency to let Cody Rhodes finish his story. And, if they pitch it like The American Nightmare will win the Undisputed WWE Universal Title from The Tribal Chief, there will be no space left for another spotlight match as big as The Rock vs Roman Reigns.

In that case, chances are high that the two cousins will face each other at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024.

It remains to be seen how Rikishi will play his part in the epic cousin vs cousin settlement.
