WWE and Drew McIntyre have not been on the same page for quite some time now. Fans who have been following the dispute are aware that the promotion is having a tough time getting The Scottish Psychopath to renew his WWE contract. As the expiry date of the contract draws closer, fans are getting worried that he will eventually leave the company.

New reports suggest there is no improvement in the issue. As a matter of fact, with time, McIntyre’s stand on his side of the negotiation seems to be stronger than ever. This creates a possibility of him eventually leaving WWE behind.

Although there have been several reports surrounding McIntyre, none of them have given us a concrete answer as to whether the wrestler is planning on staying or leaving WWE. All we know so far is that Drew McIntyre is having trouble coming to the same terms as the leading wrestling company regarding his contract details.

Since his match at WrestleMania 39, fans have been worried about McIntyre walking out of WWE. There was even an untelevised moment after his match that hinted at his possible leave from the company.

PW Insider recently reported that there have been no improvements so far. A fan questioned the media house, “Since WWE has been using Drew McIntyre A lot on RAW, Is it a pretty good indication He’s already signed an extension with the Company?“. PWI reported, “We have not heard WWE and McIntyre have come to terms on a new deal yet.

This means that there is still a chance that McIntyre could leave the promotion if both parties don’t agree. His current contract is bound to expire in April 2024, a few days following WrestleMania 40.

The industry insider proceeded by voicing out his understanding of the failed negotiation between the Scottish wrestler and his workplace. Meltzer, through WON, reported that McIntyre isn’t looking forward to leaving WWE. However, he didn’t deny the failure to negotiate between the two parties either.

According to Meltzer, the only problem that the heel wrestler has in this case is not getting the ‘number’ that he is demanding.
