CM Punk won the WWE Championship against John Cena in 2012, and defended it for 434 days, becoming one of the longest-reigning champions of all time. However, at Royal Rumble 2013, Punk would lose the title to a returning Dwayne Johnson.
Reigns overtook Punk’s iconic run for the second time in his career just ahead of his rumored return at AEW Collision, this time with the WWE Championship. Previously, it was with his Universal Championship, which he has been holding for over 1000 days. The Tribal Chief is on a popular run currently, and there seems to be no stopping him.
Roman Reigns has officially over-lapped CM Punk's 434 day reign for the 2nd time, this time with the WWE World title as he now holds it at 435 days.

Interestingly, Reigns also became the first person to overtake CM Punk’s 434-day run with his WWE Championship and etched his name in the history books. Roman Reigns began his career on the main roster alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley as The Shield working as an entourage to Punk. However, later they would have a feud with Punk as well.
From starting his career alongside Punk to breaking his records, Reigns has indeed come a long way. However, despite creating this history, Reigns does not seem to celebrate it owing to his own personal and family issues.

The Bloodline is on its way down, and Reigns cannot seem to accept it. His main focus currently is to punish Jimmy Uso for breaking apart their family rather than celebrate records, which might be very common to him now.

Is Reigns’ The Bloodline on the verge of crumbling?
The latest episode of WWE SmackDown witnessed Jey Uso fight for the United States Championship. However, as he was about to defeat Theory for the title, several interferences from Pretty Deadly, Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso saw Jey leave empty-handed.
However, as Jey Uso exited the arena, he seemed visibly disappointed in both Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso. Fans will now have to see what The Tribal Chief does as his Bloodline is almost breaking apart. The WWE Universe expects Reigns and Sikoa to face The Usos at Money in the Bank in London. And Reigns to again face either Jimmy or Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam, and possibly bring an end to the story where it all started.
