Trust Rhea Ripley to play her heel gimmick to perfection. However, Mami still enjoys a massive fan following, despite resorting to underhanded tactics during matches concerning her stable- The Judgment Day. The Australian pro wrestler has fans all over the globe. But her latest social media activities might not go down well with Canadians.

Yes, Ripley has done it again. She has taken another cheap shot at Canada. This might force the natives to put Ripley above Shawn Michaels as their most hated WWE superstar. While many have tried to threaten to take the place before, Ripley’s barrage of attacks looks potent enough.

For the last 10 days or so, WWE superstar Rhea Ripley was unhappy. She took to social media to make her emotions public. Ripley, who announced her engagement earlier this month with boyfriend and former WWE superstar Buddy Matthews, ought to be happy. But she wasn’t. Interestingly, it was Canada that proved to be the thorn in her side, as revealed by the 26-year-old.

The WWE hosted a series of shows in Canada as part of their annual itinerary. Ripley and a host of other superstars had to fly down to the North American country as part of the roster. She had been complaining since.

Her latest attack was in the form of an Instagram story: “Finally leaving crappy a** Canada! Happiness!” The Judgment Day member wrote.

Just a few days ago, she posted on X that she wanted to go home. While the post looked like any other normal post, a closer look revealed her true intentions. Ripley put a maple leaf emoji, which is often used and is synonymous with Canada.

Is she risking her reputation in the country by the constant digs aimed at it?

Will Rhea Ripley replace Shawn Michaels as Canada’s least liked WWE talent?

Shawn Michaels has a career that every pro wrestler is envious about. However, he also has a tarnished reputation in front of Canadians. This stemmed during his matches with hometown hero and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. The hate reached its peak during the infamous Montreal Screwjob saga on November 9, 1997.

Michaels too played along by staying in character and giving back to the crowd. Apart from him, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has a love-hate relationship with the country and closely follows the 58-year-old in that unwanted list.

But Mami would need to work harder to overtake Michaels. Despite her hateful posts, the current WWE Women’s World Champion  managed to get unexpected support from several Canadian natives, who vowed to undertake an activity to prove their love for The Eradicator of Judgment Day.

However, if she continues to be critical of the nation, she could surpass the WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative. This is a record many wouldn’t want to possess, but going by Ripley’s arc so far, she wouldn’t mind riling a whole country to get heel heat.
