WrestleMania 39 is finally in the record books. The dust has settled and people can’t stop talking about it. From WWE legends, such as Ric Flair to hardcore fans, everyone had their say about what went wrong and what went right, on the two nights of the event. Recently, fans have debated a lot on whether Triple H took the right call by giving Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens vs The Usos the main spot on Night 1 or did Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley deserve to end the night. ‘The Nature Boy’ had a stern opinion on this matter.

Among all, Flair stated his favorite match to be the women’s SmackDown championship bout. The much-awaited battle between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley ended with the latter on top. But, The Nature Boy expressed how perfect it was and said “They had the best match at WrestleMania…”
However, Ric Flair also expressed his disappointment in the booking order of the match. As Triple H recently explained his reasoning behind giving Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens vs The Uso’s main spot.
Flair questioned “We’re talking about a singles championship from a girl that won the Royal Rumble. Are we just breaking tradition, for what? Why are we breaking tradition for one night?”
The Nature Boy felt Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens did not deserve to go at the end
The Nature Boy felt disappointed in WWE and Triple H for breaking the WrestleMania tradition of having the Rumble winner go last. During the same episode of ‘To Be The Man,’ Ric Flair stated “What I think personally should have should happen in the promotion because I did not say this yet. There’s no way that Sammy and KO and The Usos go on after Ashley and Rhea. No way. Only in WWE.”

Ric Flair felt that even though the main eventers had the better storyline, it’s tradition to give the main event to the winner of the Royal Rumble, in this case, Rhea Ripley.
Therefore, WWE made a huge mistake according to ‘Nature Boy’. However, many fans felt Zayn and Owens deserved the main spot and sided with Triple H on the matter due to the storyline of The Bloodline.
