Who Could Be Logan Paul’s Next Challenger for His US Title?

Internet celebrity Logan Paul is now known for more than just his videos on various social media platforms. Over the past few years, the 28-year-old celebrity has evolved into a boxing and pro wrestling star. Following his big win against Dillon Danis he announced that he would be returning to WWE and going after the legendary Lucha Libre, Rey Mysterio.

The Maverick took the US Champion title from Mysterio with ease. But with a new championship title comes new challenges. With him being the latest United States Champion, there might be a few possible contenders who might be eying his title belt.

Kevin Owens

A name that pops up in the minds of fans is that of Kevin Owens. The Prize Fighter made his way to SmackDown after serving a brief time at WWE’s red brand. Since his inclusion at the Friday night show, he has been making waves as a fan favorite for his mic skills. But a few weeks ago, he caught the attention of everyone after he made a rather controversial comment on Logan Paul. On the 11/10 episode of SmackDown, Owens joined the commentary panel with Micheal Cole and Kevin Patrick for the evening.

While the fans were enjoying his snarky comments, they were caught off guard as Owen shared his views on Paul’s NSFW photoshoot. He called him a “Psychopath” after he posted a few R-rated pictures with the championship title belt. Paul’s last appearance on WWE was on the night of Crown Jewel where he had defeated Rey Mysterio. While his next appearance for the weekly show is not confirmed yet, it might be a possibility that Owens might challenge the new champion following his actions on the internet.

LA Knight

Riding on the wave of the “Yeah” movement is LA Knight. The Defiant One garnered a significant fan following due to his promos and his in-ring capabilities. The star was next in line to dethrone Roman Reigns as the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, the 41-year-old star suffered a loss at Crown Jewel as his fight was interrupted by the other members of The Bloodline. The star, who has won multiple titles during his time at independent circuits, has barely won any major titles at the Stamford-based promotion.

Since his time on the main roster, Knight has won only two championships. One being the Million Dollar Championship and the other being the SummerSlam Slim Jim Battle Royal in 2023. The star has been receiving a massive push but it might have fallen short somewhere which could have led to his defeat. It might be possible that WWE will still use the heat to Knight’s benefit. While Paul is someone who fans hate, Knight still happens to be a fan favorite. WWE might use Paul to propel Knight further by making him win his first minor title at the promotion

While this might sound like a tempting match for the fans, there might be another predator waiting to prey on Paul when the time comes.

The Apex Predator of WWE has finally made his return to WWE. After a long thread of rumors and predictions, fans witnessed Randy Orton back in action at the 2023 Survivor Series. With him being a permanent fixture once again at the promotion, his next move here is something fans have been speculating a lot. One move could be that he might be the next in line to challenge Logan Paul for his title belt. Just like Kevin Owens, Orton might also condemn Paul’s actions and might feel like does not deserve to hold the title belt.

Even though the possibility is slim, it is not something that might happen in the future either way. Considering Orton is a veteran and has held more titles than Paul, fans might get to see a storyline in which he might teach the internet celebrity a lesson.
