Watching the WWE SummerSlam in all its glory, wrestling legend Ric Flair took to Twitter and praised the incredible Bianca Belair, claiming that Bianca was the real deal. The Championship Match for WWE Women’s SmackDown Champion was flawless.

Flair stated- “Once Again, The Ladies STOLE It! When Will The WWE GET IT? More Athleticism, Excellent Storyline! Please Put Them On Last. Congratulations, Bianca Belair! You’re The Real Deal, WOOOOO!”

Bianca Belair triumphed over Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a jaw-dropping triple-threat match, even after her recent knee pop. However, they weren’t the ones with their eye on the champion. Iyo Sky swooped in like a silent viper waiting to strike, cashing in her Money in The Bank contract to snatch the belt from Belair.

Amidst all the top-tier action and cheering, Ric Flair highlighted a pressing matter and asked a straightforward question – “When will WWE get it?” He criticized SummerSlam 2023 for ignoring the Women’s division’s outstanding accomplishments. The cancellation of the highly anticipated match between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch at the eleventh hour added more fuel to the fire.

The promised bout that never took place: Trish Stratus vs Becky Lynch

The women’s division lacked enough representation as SummerSlam 2023’s big stage unfolded, leaving important names like Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and Trish Stratus notably absent from the card. These obvious absences only support Ric Flair’s assertions that WWE must give the women’s division the attention it rightfully deserves.

One of the major disappointments was the postponement of the highly anticipated match between the legendary Trish Stratus and the ferocious Becky Lynch.

As SummerSlam is renowned for showcasing top feuds and stars, the absence of these fan favorites left the audience yearning for their electrifying presence. Although the triple threat match was a testament to the talent of the wrestlers involved, it could have been executed better.

It featured Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Bianca Belair, who suffered from lackluster build-up, leaving many underwhelmed. The women’s division’s showcase lacked the initial spark it deserved. Furthermore, Ric Flair’s tweet implies that WWE has veered off course when giving its women’s division the spotlight and recognition they have worked so hard to earn.
