On last week’s SmackDown, Cena seemed all dejected and even hinted at his possible retirement. All this because of a “harsh truth” he got to know right before the start of the show. Cena learned that it’s been exactly 2002 days since he last won a solo match in the WWE.
This put Cena into some deep thoughts which made him contemplate his retirement from the WWE. But this solo win that he talked about took place on 27 April 2018 at the Greatest Royal Rumble. This win was against one of his biggest arch-rivals in the WWE. The Cenation Leader beat ‘The Game’ Triple H that night.

It was a very intense battle and at one point, The Cerebral Assassin even mocked the Cenation with a “You can’t see me” hand gesture. Eventually, Triple H tried to finish off the match with The Crippler Crossface submission. However, Cena countered that with his raw strength and converted it into an Attitude Adjustment and won that match. Fans in Saudi Arabia couldn’t believe their eyes as they thought Cena was going to tap out to the menacing Crippler Crossface.
But fast forward to 2023, and that same night on SmackDown, Cena also told the fans, “I believe the time is now to turn the math around!”. Implying that he wants to win a singles match soon! This was followed by Solo Sikoa coming to attack Cena but he was put in place with an Attitude Adjustment. But does this mean that John Cena has finally found an opponent to break his losing streak?
