Recently, the CEO of WWE spoke with Lightshed Partners covered by Wrestlelamia UK. Khan hinted at bringing back blood on live TV and that too on weekly shows, i.e. RAW and SmackDown. Moreover, he shared that WWE is in talks with NBCU for the same.

Khan said, “Look, when we’re specifically talking about the 10 to 11 hour on RAW, we’re specifically talking to NBCU and ourselves about what we do what that moving forward.”

The WWE CEO added, “We ask, what do we do if we tweak this, that 10 to 11 hour, it is basic cable, it’s not broadcast, as you know. We think that NBCU would be supportive, but we’re not on a final conclusion on that”.

Blood has been an integral part of AEW’s product right now. However, the company has been only using blood on Premium Live Events only if it is necessary for a match or feud. Otherwise, we have only seen blood on WWE shows if a star is busted open accidentally in the match.
