Were LA Knight and Bray Wyatt Friends? Exploring Wyatt’s Last Feud

Bray Wyatt has left a long legacy to behold for every WWE Superstar standing today, and for the ones who will come in the future. The phenomenal superstar took wrestling and theatre to another level and has always been a treat to watch. Wyatt last faced LA Knight in the squared circle before he met his untimely demise. While both wrestlers traded blows in their final match, were they friends by any chance?

As LA Knight heads into FastLane, the WWE universe remembers his words after the final extinguishing of Bray Wyatt’s lantern. LA Knight was chosen to pay tribute to Wyatt as he was the last person to fight him in a match. But did his words convey any relationship beyond being good colleagues?

LA Knight and Bray Wyatt: friends or enemies?

LA Knight is currently ruling the hearts of every person in the WWE Universe. The only time the WWE Universe had united to show this strong support for anybody, was for The Fiend Bray Wyatt. Everybody used to watch at night as the lights went out and everybody lit their flashlights and moved and swayed to Wyatt’s entry song. The fireflies always lit up whenever the departed wrestler used to arrive in this quiet circle for either a promo or for his next hunt/match. The head of the Wyatt family last came down to hunt LA Knight and that was the last time he was in the WWE arena.

After his demise, LA Knight exchanged a hearty speech with the WWE universe and spoke about the importance of Wyatt and the lesson he filled inside him. Knight explained how our enemies can come to us and teach us some valuable lessons in life. He told the WWE Universe that when Wyatt was pushing him and putting him through hell and when he was also paying him back the same way, that was Bray Wyatt preparing LA Knight for whatever would come next for him. In fact, Knight claimed that Wyatt was preparing him for anything that he would ever face.

Knight said that while he can easily pretend to be a best friend of Wyatt, he won’t do that. He said that he feels his endless presence in the WWE arena and also claimed that the fireflies all around can feel him as well. While this confirms that the two were never really close friends, they did share a very deep respect for each other.

The journey beyond for Knight and the road forward

Ever since facing Bray Wyatt, Knight has been in even more superb form. The wrestler was not getting the credit he deserved. However, Vince McMahon and Triple H are now noticing the sheer talent Knight possesses.

Well, Knight was already winning over a lot of fans, he was now getting that respect and acknowledgment from WWE’s creative team as well. In fact, according to Dave Meltzer, he is probably the main event of the WWE’s FastLane pay-per-view.

Knight has also been breaking streaming records and has beaten the Bloodline, as well as the most electrifying in wrestling entertainment The Rock. He was also given the VIP treatment reserved for WWE’s platinum line wrestlers when he could not make an appearance in a Smackdown live show.
