Will William Regal make a WWE comeback soon?

Fans could see William Regal back very soon on WWE television. After his release from WWE last year, Regal jumped ship to AEW. After contributing decently there, Regal returned to the old home after Triple H replaced Vince McMahon as the creative high-up.

That said, that was a partial comeback as he was still under a strict no-compete clause that didn’t allow him to be featured in any of the WWE programming nearly for a year.

But now, the clause is nearing a termination. According to Dave Meltzer, the current status of it is “just about over”.
