We are just hours away from WWE Night of Champions, which will feature three main event matches this year. One of the main event matches will see ‘The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions’, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defend their titles against ‘The WWE Undisputed Universal Champions,’ Roman Reigns, and Solo Sikoa.
Before the Sunday PLE, WWE held a pre-show press conference in Saudi Arabia. Superstars competing in today’s event met with their fans and addressed them during the conference. All four above-mentioned starts were also present there.
However, since the two rival teams don’t see eye to eye, soon everyone could feel the tension in the atmosphere escalating pretty quickly.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owen’s presence annoyed Roman Reigns
The Bloodline members came out first to address and interact with the crowd. But soon, the Tag Team Champs interrupted them. As Zayn’s entrance music hit, a wave of energy spread through the fans like fire in a forest. The audience welcomed him with a big cheer, like a hero.

Clearly, by the looks of The Tribal Chief’s facial expression, it irked him to see his opponents receive a huge pop from the audience. He could not stand his rivals getting the attention of the crowd. Therefore, he wasted no time in walking out of the press conference shortly after.

Tonight’s event will be special for all, but it will be extra special for the former ‘Honorary Uce’ as it will be the first time since 2018 he will compete in Saudi Arabia.
Sami Zayn was unofficially banned from Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is notorious for its involvement in the Syrian Civil War. Both countries share a strained relationship with each other. The former Intercontinental Champion hails from Quebec, Canada, and is of Syrian descent. When WWE signed a 10-year deal with Saudi Arabia in 2018, he was one among the many to protest against it.

His Syrian dynasty was a big reason he never participated in any of the WWE events held in the country. But since both rival countries have taken a step forward to restore their relationship by resuming their work on diplomatic missions, he has got the green flag to perform in Saudi Arabia after five long years.
