It’s no secret that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is a big man with a huge heart. He is often known for his love and generosity toward his fans, and that is what makes him a true ‘People’s Champ’. We often see him in wholesome scenarios with his fans, and he just shared another moment that proves the point about him being a good man.

In a recently uploaded video, ‘The Brahma Bull’ and his buddy, jewelry designer Isaiah Garza, can be seen roaming in a parking lot, interacting with people, distributing joy, and something even more than that. What? You may ask; let’s find out then.

A noble act of kindness

Taking to his Instagram, Dwayne Johnson uploaded a video in partnership with a finTech platform known as ‘Acorn’. In the video, which is a promotion for the Mighty Oak debit card, the Rock and Acorn decide to spread some joy around a parking lot by asking people for $7 as help, testing their generosity, and rewarding the helping hands with gifts.

In the video, he says, “Today we’re gonna do really cool and special here. We’re gonna surprise some people, and we’re gonna give them some gifts, hopefully to make their holidays.”

TikToker and philanthropist Isaiah Garza went around asking people for help and if they could spare $7, and that is when they came across a woman named Lilia. Trying to stop her by praising the appearance of her pants, Garza asks her if she can spare $7 as he is trying to buy a Christmas present for his daughter.

Without hesitation, Lilia hands him the cash. Moreover, when asked why she did it, she replies, “Because I also have children.” Wasting no time, Garza took her to Johnson. He conveyed to her that he had someone who wanted to help people. And this is when we find out that she got divorced four months ago. Furthermore, she is working hard to raise her two young boys, aged three and five.

Moved by her generosity even in such tough times, Johnson gave her the $7 back with a lot more zeroes added to it—$7000 dollars, to be precise. Well, this isn’t the first time ‘The Rock’ felt the urge to help out the ones in need, as he once went above and beyond to help out a UFC fighter.

 Johnson the Gentle Giant

UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo once revealed that he had just $7 in his wallet prior to his first win in the UFC. And Johnson, being the gentle giant and huge fan of the UFC that he is, decided to lend a hand. Well, he decided to lend out more than a hand of help, as he did the unthinkable.

In a video he uploaded on his social media, the ‘Brahma Bull’ surprised the UFC fighter in his gym and gave him the surprising news that Johnson had put a house under lease in Miami for Gorimbo. Stating the reason behind this help, he revealed that Gorimbo’s story resonated with him as he recalls having $7 to his name in Miami prior to his rise in pro wrestling and entertainment.
