The Rock continued exploring new ways to torment the American Nightmare as part of the promising build-up to their grudge tag team match at WrestleMania Night 1. To reference the latest assault, The Brahma Bull left his imminent opponent bloodied during Raw this week. After the nail-biting episode went down, leaked backstage footage showed Rhodes’ two big alliances, Seth Rollins and Jey Uso walking relaxed to Gorilla with no hurry to safeguard their friend. Does it mean an eventual betrayal coming in Rhodes’ way sooner or later? While that’s too early to speculate, the footage undoubtedly stirred some tension.

Seth Rollins and Jey Uso’s latest backstage gestures swirled concern over the internet

Keeping aside their past heated rivalry, Seth Rollins established himself as a trusted ally of Cody Rhodes ever since The Rock-Roman Reigns-Cody Rhodes dynamic emerged in the house. On the other hand, Jey Uso teamed up with Rhodes following his Bloodline break-up and garnered a lot of fame and appreciation as a fresh tag team champion a few months back. Both of them have had Cody Rhodes’ back on last week’s SmackDown and confronted a furious Bloodline. However, when on Raw, The American Nightmare was being brutally abused to the point of bleeding, two of his strongest pillars were seen chilling around backstage.

Now it could be a casual angle or it could imply something fishy brewing under the cover. But according to WWE veteran Mark Henry, a betrayal is too far-fetched to anticipate.

WWE legend has his trust in Cody Rhodes-Seth Rollins’ on-screen camaraderie

Avid fans must have spotted that Rollins had already gotten over the blow received from Drew McIntyre when The Rock started assaulting Rhodes and could easily save Cody Rhodes’ in the face of the meaningless attack, but he didn’t. Rather, he chose to walk casually alongside Uso. Also, their alliance has severely been questioned for their tumultuous past. While The Bloodline members put Rollins’ loyalty to his tag team partner into doubt, Mark Henry simply doesn’t. He sees nonsense in tipping Rollins to double-cross Rhodes at this point in time. He said his brain isn’t yet seasoned with the idea of something of that sort.
