The world is awaiting the moment they get to lay their eyes on Mercedes Mone FKA Sasha Banks to grace the ring again. And while it was unsure earlier if she has signed a contract with a promotion yet, with the announcement of AEW’s Big Business live event, it is all but confirmed that she is all elite now.

And in a recent tweet, she has teased her wrestling return again as she responded to a tweet by WWE’s Bayley.

Bayley and Mone formed the ‘Boss ‘N’ Hug’ tag team back when Mone was once part of the WWE roster. And Bayley felt a little nostalgic as she reshared a post by the WWE about the promotion celebrating 5 years of the Women’s tag team championship. Bayley mentioned the Boss and expressed her gratitude for her time with Mone. And replying to this, the former Sasha Banks hinted that she would be returning to a title picture again, probably in AEW as she wrote, “Wait till you see what I’m fighting for next”

There’s no doubt that the Boss is a top-level draw, as witnessed by her hinted appearance being a reason behind Big Businesses’ huge boost in ticket sales. So Tony Khan wouldn’t shy away from getting her into the title picture as soon as she makes her debut. But Bayley would surely be disappointed that she wouldn’t be getting another match with the Boss as she once revealed she wanted.

Bayley and Mone have starred in great moments throughout their WWE careers. Their most popular match, and the one that is remembered as one of the ones that changed the women’s wrestling industry for the better in the United States, was the one they had at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015. In addition, they are close friends in real life, and although they do not work for the same company anymore, the fans and themselves continue to dream of one more fight.
