John Cena and Bloodline have been at odds, especially since his return to WWE. Since his return, there has been some tension between him and Roman Reigns. Apart from that, Reigns’ latest rival, LA Knight, has Cena’s backing, thus adding fuel to the fire. Reigns has established himself as the Tribal Chief and the faction’s members, including Paul Heyman, dare not go against him.

But in a scarce sight, Paul Heyman broke his character of Wiseman for a moment. And in that moment, he showed the world and John Cena why Cena deserves love and respect.

In a very unexpected twist, Paul Heyman appreciated John Cena’s work while standing in front of thousands of people. He said, “Thank You for 21 Years of Sold Out Arenas based on the name ‘John Cena’.” Heyman then went on to say where it all began. “It started at the boardroom when Vince McMahon turned to me and said, when I am running SmackDown, ‘first-round draft pick from OVW, who you got?, and who did I pick? John Cena.” He even stated that he wanted his kids to grow up like John Cena and he thanked him for never letting the people at WWE down. And he credits all of that to John Cena’s mic skills.

But the happy moment quickly took a hard left when Heyman said Roman Reigns was not going to leave him. Heyman said that Cena could have grown just like him, but he instilled the wrath of the Tribal Chief. He said that the only way to defeat the Leader of the Cenation is to take away his most important skill, to communicate with the audience. Heyman further gave a warning to John Cena. He said that in this one match with Sikoa at Crown Jewel, he would lose. As Heyman pulled the floor from Cena’s feet, Solo Sikoa attacked Cena out of nowhere and nailed him with a Samoan Spike to end the segment.

In multiple interviews, Paul Heyman has highlighted the fact that John Cena is a real-life superhero. During the last night’s promo, he said he wanted his kids to grow up like him. In an interview a few months ago, Heyman said that he would love his grandkids to follow the 46-year-old star’s footsteps. According to him, Cena is a real superhero outside the ring, and because of this, Heyman has a lot of admiration for him.

Heyman also revealed that there was a time when Vince McMahon had a small banter with John Cena. Cena has always been active with the Make-A-Wish foundation. But he has requested that he does not want any publicity for it. This caused a bit of friction between him and McMahon. Later on, McMahon sat with Cena. He explained to him that it is essential to do the publicity so that people join in for the efforts. This eventually convinced Cena, and he agreed to it.
