The night before the Survivor Series, the Friday Night SmackDown saw WWE trying to grab some last-minute momentum for the looming PLE. That said, the episode was significant as it missed out on a major saga for the first time in what feels like an eternity.

Yes, the saga in question was none other than The Bloodline. Fans noticed the Roman Reigns’ troops were nowhere on the stage tonight and it was not an experience they are weathered to.

The Women’s Wargames squads opened the two-hour extravaganza with a fiery promo war. It was followed by a number of stellar bouts and backstage segments before the show winded up.

However, along with the line of each and every SmackDown episode for the past couple of years, fans envisaged at least one Bloodline segment only to be left wanting. The recent episode of SmackDown was the first in three years without any members of The Bloodline making an appearance.

Neither Solo Sikoa nor Jimny Uso have been granted a spot in the Survivor Series as well so far, with Roman Reigns on his hiatus. Usually, Paul Heyman does make an appearance on behalf of The Bloodline, but on this occasion even he was missing from action.

However, The Bloodline could still loom large and twist the plan in the following ways.

Will The Bloodline turn up at Survivor Series unadvertised?

Despite Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa not being tipped for a spot at Survivor Series, given the current storyline regarding them, it’s very likely for The Bloodline members to at least appear in a backstage interview. During the segment, Jey Uso could show up and wreak havoc on his ousted family members to reaffirm his decision to part ways with the faction.

To exert revenge, The Bloodlines members could join forces with The Judgement Day and fight against the unified power of Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens.

It will be riveting to see whether The Bloodline ends up appearing in the Survivor Series this Saturday.
