Raquel Rodriguez will take on Rhea Ripley at Payback on September 2. But before that, she has fired shots at Ripley’s wingman Dominik Mysterio. The 26-year-old was targeted after his social media misdemeanors that showed him getting involved in vindictive behavior. The two were involved in a segment recently on WWE RAW, where the 32-year-old threatened to attack Mysterio.

A recent photo tweeted by Rhea Ripley showed Dominik Mysterio attacking Rodriguez. This, according to Ripley, was unaired but should have been a part of the RAW programing. Shortly after the image was shared online, Ripley’s Payback opponent took on the issue.

We have seen Ripley putting up and even at times accommodating Dominik Mysterio’s backstage antics, much to the displeasure of others. Rey Mysterio’s son, unfortunately, had no such luck with Rodriguez.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion was bemused with the picture that Ripley shared on X. It showed Dom Dom putting a choke hold on Rodriguez, but it was only a cardboard cutout of the WWE superstar. Happy with the action, Ripley even called her Payback opponent a “big B***h”.

In her salvo, Rodriguez said it was the only opportunity Dirty Dom had to get his hands on her. “The only time that guy is going to put his arms around me,” she shared on her Instagram story.

This, however, isn’t the only time Raquel Rodriguez has slammed the newest member of The Judgment Day. The NXT North American Champion was brutally trolled by her a few days ago.

What does Raquel Rodriguez think about facing Dominik Mysterio in a match?

As stated above, Dom Dom came face-to-face inside the ring a few days ago. Not by choice of course. He was, unfortunately, still present when Raquel Rodriguez managed to send Ripley out of the ring. What followed was a shaky Dominik Mysterio asking to be spared, causing a distraction for Ripley to attack.

However it proved futile as Rodriguez was able to counter the move and hit one of her own on the Australian as she and her aide both retracted.

Sharing a clip of the encounter, USA Network tweeted that fans wouldn’t mind seeing an intergender match featuring Mysterio and Rodriguez.

Replying to the post, Rodriguez took a brutal low jab on Dirty Dom. “He doesn’t have the b**ls to face me 🤷‍♀️,” her tweet read. While Dominik Mysterio is garnering praise for his work in the WWE, it seems he still has a long way to go to prove his detractors, including Rodriguez, wrong.

If only Dom Dom could put that choke hold on Rodriguez for real, maybe that would lead her to believe otherwise, but till that doesn’t happen, several fans would likely go with Rodriguez’s claim. She, however, will be wary of Mysterio at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the weekend.
