Name, fame, and money aren’t the things to count in life. A king can be dethroned from his kingdom any day, irrespective of how much power he holds. This philosophy turned out a bitter reality in the life of a former WWE superstar, Danny Burch aka Martin Stone as hackers hacked all his bank accounts.

As terrifying as it sounds, the former superstar was literally left penniless and rushed to his fans for help via Twitter. This was the last thing he could do in order to survive.

Burch was with WWE from 2011 to 2014. He teamed up with Oney Lorcan to form a strong association but only managed to hold the NXT Championship once. After the team split up, Burch got fired in 2022. He has been actively wrestling in the Indies since then.

But what happened to him is not something he deserved. The wrestler issued a tweet saying that he is currently bankrupt. Although he made it clear that it was utterly a matter of discomfort for him to seek help from fans, he had no option. The 41-year-old attached a GoFundMe link with his post for fans’ shake.

Stone replied, ”No. Obviously, I would have loved to have gotten the chance to be on the main roster. But, you know, out of my hands. I had an absolute blast. I had so much fun there. So, yeah, my only regret is, you know, not getting a chance to be on the main roster, but apart from that, it was an absolute blast mate. It was a real pleasure.”

The former NXT talent had to undergo a string of injuries in 2021, however, those weren’t as painful as the situation he currently is in.
