WWE and UFC merged together to form the $21.4 billion sports entertainment giant called ‘TKO’. Since both promotions are technically now under the same roof, crossovers have been on top of fans’ minds. Although TKO has neither denied nor confirmed the speculations, fans are still hopeful as WWE’s next PLE Fastlane draws closer.

Since WWE has accepted guest appearances from athletes from different sports, it is possible that UFC stars may also be on the list to appear soon. In such a case, we have four former UFC champions who can show up at Fastlane, given their connection with the wrestling promotion in one way or another.

Conor Mcgregor is undoubtedly a big name in the MMA world. However, he is not alien to wrestling fans either because of his knack for calling out pro wrestlers. Since he has time and again feuded with WWE stars, it would pay off for TKO to feature ‘The Notorious’.

Moreover, Cain Velasquez could also show up at WWE again. He is already introduced to the WWE universe because of his appearance in a wrestling match with Brock Lesnar. Since Velasquez retired from MMA in 2019, he might also pursue WWE as a full-time career.

At the UFC 186 press event, George St-Pierre confessed his love for pro wrestling to the fans present there. Following this, he also said how he would love to make an appearance in the Stamford-based company if provided with the chance. Though much like Velasquez, Pierre has also retired, WWE may utilize his enthusiasm at Fastlane.

Before concluding the list, let’s not forget Ronda Rousey‘s former rival, Holly Holm. The former UFC champion was one of the two conquerors of Rousey during her MMA run. So, Holm making a move in WWE would make sense. With Rousey not around at the moment in WWE, Holm will be a perfect big name to feature in the squared circle from the octagon.
