What appears to be on social media doesn’t always have to be real. Grayson Waller recently attested to giving his fans fake signals. The WWE star admitted that not only does he indulge in sharing pieces of information about himself that are fake, but he also enjoys that bit. We can see that Waller is taking his gimmick a bit too seriously when he did exactly what ‘Waller’ would do.

While the act, on the surface, was as innocent as posting a picture with an MMA fighter, the motive behind it was not what it appears to be. Since the fighter isn’t considered the best in the business, Waller explained why he uploaded a picture with him.

WWE star admits the real reason to misguide his fans

Waller recently sat down to have a chat with Ariel Helwani on ‘The MMA Hour’. During the interview, Helwani made sure to ask him about the picture that Waller shared on his Instagram with MMA fighter Dillon Danis. Although a picture is usually something that is often sidelined, this one bothered Helwani for one particular reason. “There’s no way in hell that an A-lister like you is taking a photo with a jobber like him and posting it in your feed,” said the journalist.

The WWE star simply explained, “I love messing with people online. I love it. There’s nothing that’s not fun in that. What is more ‘bad guy’ than posting a photo with Dillon Danis?” Helwani pointed out that the wrestler is usually careful and private while posting others on his feed.

To this, the 33-year-old replied, “How many people are getting mentioned on your show and they don’t even fight at all? He doesn’t even fight. So, he’s doing something right, I guess?”

He sarcastically mentioned Danis’ inability to fight well as something he likes about him. Even though some might have thought that he entertained him because Danis is friends with Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor, it appears that wasn’t the case after all. His ‘evil guy’ sarcasm combined with Waller’s liking of messing with the netizens happens more often than you think.

Not only was the compliment out of the blue, but the wrestler mentioning a Hollywood star seemed odd.

Now, after his confession, while talking to Ariel Helwani, some of his past deeds might make sense. If we were to connect his tweet about Margot Robbie to his confession about liking to mess with people online, we could get the perfect intent behind his tweet.
