2 Ways Dwayne Johnson Might Cost Roman Reigns His WWE Title and His History-Making Streak

As we get closer to the 40th edition of WrestleMania, the excitement and curiosity rises. The biggest draw however has to be the return of WWE Legend, Dwayne Johnson who has straight away thrown a challenge for Roman Reigns. But Roman Reigns didn’t seem fazed by The Rock’s words. However, The Rock is The Tribal Chief’s biggest challenger to date and we have reasons on how he will affect Roman Reigns’ title run.

Two ways in which The Rock will affect Roman Reigns’ title run

Amidst the speculation of Roman Reigns’ loss at Royal Rumble, we speculate two ways in which he may lose at Rumble.

1.  The Rock’s interference: WWE has subtly announced a dream match for WrestleMania Night 2 as Roman Reigns is set to take on the biggest superstar from the Tribe. The Rock has yet to make any appearance since RAW’s special show: Day 1.

We know how Roman Reigns has been receiving support from his Bloodline members, Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso leading to his successful title defenses. So, how will The Rock impact Reigns’ match at Royal Rumble? The Rock may interfere in the Fatal 4-way match which may lead to Reigns finally losing his title. Frustrated by The Rock’s interference, the storyline may lead to a big match at WrestleMania. Speculations are that Randy Orton might be the beneficiary of the chaos if Reigns loses.

2.  Jimmy Uso’s betrayal: Jimmy Uso returned to The Bloodline seeking asylum, but will he remain faithful to Roman Reigns? Well, Jimmy Uso isn’t the most favoured member of the team due to his history of defiance. Additionally, every time Reigns has assigned him any task, Jimmy has failed. This has lead to poor treatment at the hands of Roman Reigns, so will Jimmy turn against Reigns when the time comes?

What will happen if Roman Reigns loses his title at the Royal Rumble?

But what will happen if Reigns loses his title at WrestleMania? Well, first of all, it will result in the end of a legendary world title streak that has stretched over 1100 days. It will also help build up Roman Reigns vs. The Rock feud at WrestleMania as The Tribal Chief will have a more meaningful rationale to fight The People’s Champ.
