Since the WWE announced that Jade Cargill had signed with them in September 2023, the fans have been waiting to see her. Despite multiple backstage segments and interactions with WWE stars of the women’s division, Cargill has yet to make her in-ring debut. Knowing the fame she’s bringing over from AEW, fans suspect it could be at a PLE, and the closest is Crown Jewel.

Cargill has repeatedly stated that she has wanted to go after everybody, especially the Women’s title that currently belongs to Rhea Ripley.

Two reasons why Jade Cargill could come face-to-face with Rhea Ripley

There are two main reasons why this could happen. The first is the fact that Cargill has shown a ton of interest in Ripley. Despite not being assigned to any brand, Cargill has always set her sights on the big ones, and Ripley is one of them. Even Ripley has spoken about Cargill in the past.

” If Jade wants to come to my brand, then I would love to step in the ring with her and show her exactly why Mami’s always on top,” Ripley responded when asked about Cargill. The Fatal-Five way at Crown Jewel will cement who the strongest woman in the WWE is and will set the stage for Cargill to challenge them.

Another reason why this could happen is because it reflects the Royal Rumble in 2018. Ronda Rousey was rumored to make an entry in the women’s match. However, she did not appear during the match but after it. This appearance was Rousey’s way of confirming that she had signed full-time with the WWE. She pointed to the WrestleMania sign and offered Asuka a handshake, kicking off their feud.

This same phenomenon could be witnessed at Crown Jewel. Cargill could appear post-match, and if Ripley is victorious, this could kick off their next feud. Regardless of what happens, fans are dying to see Cargill perform against the WWE division after making a name for herself in AEW.

The rise of Jade Cargill in AEW

Cargill made an explosive debut on AEW by interrupting Cody Rhodes. After a verbal spat with Brandi Rhodes hinting at a feud, she moved on. She later amassed an undefeated streak and proved to be a major draw.
