23-Year-Old WWE Bombshell to Return After 7 Months and Attack Rhea Ripley? Possible Spoilers for Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee’s Upcoming Title Match

Rhea Ripley has been around Dominik Mysterio, protecting the North American Champion from every threat possible. With all the cheap tricks in the book, the two have managed to keep their titles and eliminate competition one by one. However, it seems like, in an attempt to protect Dom, Ripley has painted a target on her back.

With the latest edition of NXT rolling out, Ripley might face a new challenger, making her return, and disrupting her reign as champion.

Trouble for Rhea Ripley from NXT Superstar?

NXT delivered a great show after a highly acclaimed Great American Bash. While Dom retained his title, it was mainly because of the interference by Ripley. Now on the latest NXT, Dragon Lee challenged Dominik Mysterio for the North American Championship at NXT, next week. While the challenge was expected, it’s the response by a fellow NXT superstar, who has been out of WWE for the last 7 months, that has got everyone talking.

In the post shared by WWE and Dragon Lee, NXT superstar Nikkita Lyons commented on the challenge issued by Lee. She quoted: “Sheeesshhh let’s go Dragonnn 🐉” . To which Lee replied by saying: “ I can count on you my friend.”

The response has triggered speculations among fans who think this could lead to a return by Lyons who suffered a torn ACL in her right knee, in January, to possibly feud with Ripley in the coming weeks.

While the two have never competed for the title before, a matchup between the two would definitely create a frenzy among the WWE Universe.

However, this isn’t the only thing Ripley has to worry about.

Rey Mysterio shocks Dominik Mysterio

After calling out Lee for being unoriginal and Rey Mysterio rip-off, Dom accepted the challenge for next week, with Ripley pledging to be in his corner.

However, Lee had a surprise of his own, as he said he has the legendary luchador Rey Mysterio in his corner next week. The master of 619 then appeared on the titantron and promised to show up to see Lee capture the title from Dom.
