In the recent episode of the podcast ‘Maria Menounos’ Heal Squad’, WWE superstar Sonya Deville appeared as a special guest. There, the former mixed martial artist pulled the drapes off the time when the WWE veteran made her cry backstage.

Deville revealed that during her rivalry with the former WWE superstar Mandy Rose back in 2020, she cut a promo. She mentioned that back then she believed the best promo of her career. And, when she returned backstage The Miz praised her mic skill, and this made Deville emotional and she cried.

Recalling the moment with The Miz, Deville said, “I went out there and I never felt so confident, and I delivered it and I remember I walked off stage and Miz was standing backstage, and he was like, ‘That’s one of the best promos I ever heard.’ I started crying because coming from him, someone who’s great on the mic, amazing, been around for so long, I was like, ‘Wow.’”

The Miz is indeed one of those wrestlers who are best on the mic. And, when a budding wrestler gets a compliment from him, it is certain that one will get emotional.
