Impressed by Sharpe’s respect for the history of the pro wrestling industry in America, Triple H offered the NFL legend a small yet significant gift. The CCO of WWE tweeted, “Love the respect and passion for the history of our business. @ShannonSharpe and the @NightcapShow_ crew are welcome to join us at a @WWE event any place, any time.”

This is a smart business tactic while also showing sportsmanship and extending a hand of friendship toward the three-time Super Bowl champion. However, it seems that WWE has a soft spot for American football, as evident by their fairly recent collaboration.

Big 12’s Championship in 2023 concluded in the first week of December. WWE had planned a collaboration with the collegiate football tournament.
