There was a time when Dana White and Triple H were direct competitors as the UFC and WWE fought for ratings. However, since the merger between the two sports entertainment entities, the two have become close. Working together to bring forth the vision that is TKO Group Holdings, the two have been recently spotted together at a boxing match.

So, where were White and Hunter this time? Endorsing another product for TKO Holdings?

Triple H and White were spotted at the Irish boxing sensation Callum Walsh’s fight. The rising southpaw from Ireland went toe-to-toe with Ismael Villarreal and beat the hometown boxer by unanimous decision. It was a seven-bout card’s main event at a sold-out Madison Square Garden theater.

White and Triple H have been building their bond since the UFC and WWE merger. The two have been spotted together multiple times as they both now work together under TKO. Working for Vince McMahon, White has not had good words for the CEO of the WWE. However, he has never said anything negative about Hunter.

With the WWE and UFC under Hunter and White, fans are excited to see what future plans entail. However, this will take time before something is announced. The first major event will be a PLE featuring both brands in a crossover event. As of now, the two brands work individually.

The controversial merger that saw many employees lose their jobs

The merger that was ranked to be the biggest in sports history was shrouded in controversy. While both brands became significantly richer due to the merger, the employees were not safe. Days after the merger, 100 employees from the WWE were terminated. This was a massive surprise to the entire WWE Universe.

Days after this, shock and shockwave swept through the WWE Universe. Megastars like Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, and many more were released as well. This was another shock that gained massive criticism from experts in the business.
