But why exactly did the former Bloodline member start this noble initiative?

Why Sami Zayn started ‘Sami for Syria’?

‘Sami for Syria’ is an initiative by Sami Zayn in association with the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS). The initiative aims at setting up mobile medical clinics on the ground in Syria to cater to the mental and physical needs of displaced civilians. These clinics will provide the services of physicians, midwives, nurses, and others free of charge.

In an interview about the initiative, Sami shared what inspired him to team up with SAMS and work towards helping people in Syria. He said, “My parents are from Syria. My family lives in Syria; a lot of them have been displaced. I know, I visited the country when I was younger. It’s obviously very personal to me”.
