Fans couldn’t get enough of this week’s WWE Raw as the dramatic ending in the epic Cody Rhoes-Dwayne Johnson segment totally swept them off their feet. The Great One’s unexpected visit to the red brand to confront the American Nightmare as brutally as anyone could imagine culminated in a bloody affair. Also, the flawless delivery of every dig and barb between the rivals perfectly added to it and made it pure cinema. The banger segment even led to an unbridled social media applauding spree with some of the fans, dubbing it the Best Raw episode in decades. But despite all the hype, WWE veteran Bully Ray spotted a loophole in the script and didn’t shy away from voicing the same in his podcast.
Bully Ray wanted Roman Reigns to chime in The Rock-Cody Rhodes’ dramatic Raw affairs
Last night on Raw, The Rock brought pure fire to the ring. The bad blood between Rhodes and The Rock simmered throughout the entire episode. Cody Rhodes kickstarted the verbal battles during his promo, where he smashed The Rock and Roman Reigns with repeated shots. Later on, as he demanded acknowledgment from the crowd, The Rock stormed through the ring. His surprising entry to the red brand shellshocked fans, but he couldn’t care less. Rather, he sneakily murmured something cryptic to Cody Rhodes’ ears. It ultimately led to The Brahma Bull wrecking Havoc on Rhodes backstage to mark the end of the electrifying episode. But in the whole saga, The Tribal Chief wasn’t seen anywhere to witness his cousin’s ultimate notoriety. And this is where Bully Ray found a massive mistake in the creative.

In the latest episode of the Busted Open Radio, the veteran noted, While the tribal chief is seeing The Rock do the dirty work, not seeing Roman last night kind of took a little bit away from me. I would have loved to have seen him there overseeing the dirty work as if, ‘I am the one who made this happen tonight Cody’. I would have liked to have seen the Rock come up, look at his cousins Roman, and Roman, nod in approval as if to say, ‘Good job, final boss’.”
However, it seems Roman Reigns might go off the TV post-WrestleMania.
Roman Reigns might not be consistent on WWE TV for too long
Former head writer Vince Russo foresees Roman Reigns going on hiatus after WrestleMania 40. Despite being an Undisputed Universal Champion, for a record-breaking period, The Tribal Chief Reigns has been working in the part-time schedule for the last few years. In recent weeks, although he appears on TV to build up the tension for WrestleMania, WWE stretched more upon the Rock-Cody Rhodes feud.
Given the situation, Russo stated if WWE continues to shed more light on The Rock and Cody Rhodes’ animosity, even after WrestleMania, Roman Reigns can opt to take some time off.
