One of the things that gets a lot of attraction from WWE fans is the possibility of seeing their favorite wrestlers in WWE. Wrestlers from all over the world, NJPW, AAA, ROH, or AEW, are also asked the question, what about WWE? While many deny it or hope for it, there always seems to be hope for it. One of the wrestlers who love to tease fans about joining WWE is MJF.

The current AEW World Champion is an expert in getting the fans to think he might switch any day. But this time when MJF tried to hint at a possible WWE switch, his boss was sitting right next to him, and he was not happy.

After retaining his title at Double or Nothing, MJF sat alongside Tony Khan for the media scrum. Friedman was restating his claim to the world title and boasting about his glorious victory. But then, someone asked him why he keeps saying the phrase, take my ball and go home. While MJF didn’t reply to it, he hinted at something bigger.

To the question, MJF replied, “When I say, take my ball and go home, everybody thinks I’m talking about WWE, right? Now, does Nick Khan want me to work in his company, sure! Calm down it’s fine or maybe it’s not?” At this, Tony Khan had an equally angered as well as a shocked reaction on Khan’s face.

While this isn’t the first time that MJF has scared Khan, that time when MJF called his own boss, a mark on live TV, this is the first time that he has said it to Khan’s face. So what do the fans think about it?
