WWE is one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world, however, for the past few years, Tony Khan’s AEW has risen to the occasion. AEW has turned out to become one of the fiercest rivals of WWE in the town.

Recently, after WWE announced Money in the Bank in London, AEW also came forward with AEW: All In at the Wembley Stadium in London as well. However, they have not stopped there. With the first episode of their latest show Collision nearing, Tony Khan and AEW now plan on roping in a very close friend and associate of WWE’s Triple H into their company.

As per a report by Wrestling Haus, Tony Khan intends on pulling Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac into AEW. Back in the late 90s, during the Attitude Era, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, and Triple H used to run things around with their DX-Generation faction in WWE.

However, long gone are those days. Although most of those members from DX are in WWE, Billy Gunn is currently enjoying his career in AEW. Wrestling Haus reported that Khan is intent on bringing Waltman to their roster, with plans of having him work with Billy Gunn. On several previous occasions, AEW tried bringing Waltman into their company and have him work alongside Gunn, only to get refused every time.

The report also clarified that Waltman is not looking for a solo appearance, and instead has long-term plans on his mind. He is reportedly also working hard to get back in shape and have an in-ring return.
