Tony Khan’s AEW is set to launch in the video game market in a few days. Fans are already excited about the gameplay after watching the videos available online. With Yukes producing the game, fans believe it will have touches from the old WWE games, especially WWE: Here Comes the Pain. However, as new gameplay or creatives were uploaded on the internet, fans took notice of a very familiar action in the game. In the taunts section of the creative suit, fans can find themselves their very own Roman Reigns in AEW.

WWE fans react to AEW and Tony Khan acknowledging Roman Reigns in their video game

AEW: Fight Forever is set to hit the market in one week. It will have a full-blooded AEW roster to play, but it is a video uploaded on Twitter revealing how Roman Reigns’ typical taunt before he launches the Superman punch is in the game which has got the fans talking.

Often called ‘the locked & loaded’, AEW included this taunt at the taunt, ‘General masculine 02’, customization, turning it into a generic taunt. As soon as fans took notice of this, they started losing their calm, and head over to the Twitter thread to react to it.

However, it is not the first time the AEW game will have a WWE reference. Prior to this, AEW added Brock Lesnar’s F-5 under the name, ‘Diverticulitis’, giving an ode to Lesnar’s own battle with the disease diverticulitis.

Fans claimed that AEW and Tony Khan might get sued for this move.

Several fans argued that AEW has finally acknowledged their Tribal Chief, and included him in the game.

One fan claimed that since AEW included Roman Reigns, their game is now bound to sell well.

Fans believe that such is Reigns’ stardom that AEW was compelled to include him in their video game.

Even without being a part of AEW, Roman Reigns made his presence felt in the rival promotion and this move from Yukes will turn some heads at AEW.

AEW game copied Brock Lesnar’s finisher with a cheeky name

Roman Reigns is not the only superstar getting acknowledged in AEW: Fight Forever. The game’s custom move preset has a maneuver WWE fans will be well versed with, Brock Lesnar’s F5. But it isn’t called by this name in the game for obvious reasons, rather they have gone a bit underhanded in their approach.

The game has named Lesnar’s famous finisher after a deadly intestinal disease, diverticulitis. The medical condition involves inflammation in the digestive tract and is quite a serious illness. Lesnar fans will know quite well that ‘The Beast’ battled with the disease for a long time and it even brought his UFC run to a premature end. AEW naming a Lesnar’s finisher after a disease did garner attention from the wrestling community.
