Vince McMahon is arguably one of the most debated-upon personalities among all WWE stars. Time and again, his co-workers or former WWE personalities keep on dropping hints about how McMahon is in-person. Bruce Prichard once shared something about McMahon. Apart from the usual work-related insights, this was rather personal.
In fact, what Prichard shared was more about the people who are close to McMahon. In a recent episode of his podcast, ‘Something To Wrestle’, Prichard talked about several things and when he was asked about what it meant to be close to McMahon, his answer came out as a rather shocking one.

In an episode of ‘Something to Wrestle With in 2018’, Prichard shed light on what most WWE employees and talents would have wanted in their professional lives. Since, Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE, probably some people wanted to be close to him for professional benefit.
However, Prichard debunked the myth by saying that it was more of a headache to be close to McMahon rather than a blessing. This fact stands true of McMahon’s kids as well. “The kids, the worst. Linda, the worst. They had it harder than anybody,” revealed Prichard.
“Those that are close to Vince, have it 10 or 100 times worse than anybody else in the company. The best thing for you is to be arm’s length to Vince, or hopefully never having to deal with him one on one,” said Prichard about the former CEO of WWE.
He then went on to reveal that this was particularly because McMahon had high expectations.
Vince McMahon’s fate in WWE
Although McMahon worked a lot to bring WWE where it stands today, fans weren’t always fond of him. After McMahon signed off his post, several fans were relieved. However, there was paranoia among some of them that McMahon could still manipulate the creative upon his return. This was mainly because of him being a high stakeholder in the company’s stocks.

This paranoia increased when WWE merged with UFC and McMahon came back and gained an amount of administrative control.
A lot of fans retaliated by trending a hashtag to ‘fire’ Vince and hoping for Endeavor to notice. However, the trend did not prove to be of much use as the request went unnoticed.
