

To say Ridge Holland has had a controversial start in the WWE would be an understatement. One-half of the Brawling Brutes has gained a reputation for being a bit of a hazard to work with. Holland, who joined the WWE in 2018, hasn’t left the positive mark he wanted on the WWE fans. The fans would turn on the wrestler after a series of unfortunate events in the ring.
Despite being absent for a while, as soon as the star returned, he was back to his old ways. Whether this was a story angle or Holland being his normal self, it was for fans to decide.

Ridge Holland apologies for the recent injury to Ilja Dragunov
The one aspect that fans hated the most about Holland’s return was his sudden push to the Main Event. This is something that left fans scratching their heads. He was never over as a wrestler, and his series of injuries left fans disliking him whenever he was in the ring. NXT being more open to fans’ responses toward its stars left them wondering why the company pushed Holland.

Recently, during a match with NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. Holland dropped the Champion on his head, which resulted in the match being stopped mid-way. This left fans questioning what was going on as Dragunov was carried out on a stretcher. Taking to social media, Holland apologized for this move with the caption, “I’m sorry for what happened @UNBESIEGBAR_ZAR. This not who I am. Get Well Soon.”
