Fans love it when wrestlers pay tribute to icons of the business. This is a thousand times better when the wrestlers paying tribute do something they would normally not do. This is what happened when Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso teamed up with Alpha Academy at a house show to pay tribute to one of the funniest wrestling icons of the 2000s.

Despite not winning that many matches, this icon got over with the fans for just being a complete goofball in the squared circle. One of his iconic moves is now a staple in Otis’ arsenal.

Rhodes and Jey are the current Undisputed Tag Team Champions. They are standouts in the WWE with great chemistry and being over with the fans. Despite their no-nonsense attitude in the ring, one viral video shows how much fun the two like having.

The viral video shows the champs against Alpha Academy at a house show. A house show is an event which is not recorded to be televised. House shows are often unscripted and without the cameras, wrestlers show a different side of themselves.

Two videos are making the rounds, one of Rhodes and the other of Jey. Along with Alpha Academy with Chad Gable, Otis, and Maxxine Dupri, the duo performs the worm. Otis made the worm popular, but it has been in the WWE since the 2000s.

The worm was first seen in the WWE by Scotty 2 Hotty. The now iconic movie was part of Hotty’s gimmick. What started out as a fun in-ring move later became something fans would cheer for. Otis kept the legacy alive, and Rhodes and Jey added to it.

The current Undisputed Tag Team title holders have a lot on their plate. While keeping The Judgment Day at bay, they have The Bloodline to worry about. After winning the titles, the two-faced Sam  Zayn and Kevin Owens. Despite successfully defending the titles, the number of people who want the title only increased with Reigns returning. Only time will tell who will be the next to face the duo for the titles. However, in a moment to part with the seriousness of things, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes engaged in a fun segment. The wrestling community expressed their glee at the set of events that transpired.
