WWE Universe was left jaw-dropped when Cody Rhodes pinned the ‘Beast’ Brock Lesnar at Backlash. The match was brutal and bloody. Lesnar’s face was covered with blood, still, he kept on continuing the fight. Just when Lesnar locked Rhodes in a Kimura lock, the ‘American Nightmare’ turned the tables and pinned the ‘Beast’ in the ring filled with his blood.

Rhodes then set his eyes on the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. However, Lesnar appeared with stitches on his face and paid Cody Rhodes in full for beating him at Backlash. 

Lesnar attacked Rhodes, clearly stating that he is not yet done with him. The attack was pretty brutal and its effects can be seen in an unseen footage of Cody Rhodes from Monday Night Raw.

The unseen footage of Cody Rhodes after Lesnar’s attack

Recently, a video of the WWE superstar Cody Rhodes is going viral on the internet. The video contains the footage of Rhodes after Monday Night Raw went off-air, this week. In the video, the ‘American Nightmare’ is taking the help of the officials to walk back after Lesnar’s brutal attack.

Not only this, but Brock Lesnar also challenged Cody Rhodes at WWE’s Night of Champions’ later this month. The attack made fans wonder if it is just a glimpse of how the ‘Beast’ is going to deal with him in Saudi Arabia.

Lesnar’s attack on Cody Rhodes also grabbed the attention because it was quite unpredictable. Fans didn’t expect Lesnar to be on this week’s Raw as he got badly injured at Backlash. However, ‘The Beast’ cost Cody Rhodes a World Heavyweight Championship opportunity.

What happened on Raw, this week?

This week on Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes entered the World Heavyweight championship tournament. He competed against The Miz and Finn Balor for a triple-threat match. The WWE universe was certain that Rhodes will bag the opportunity.

But just when Rhodes was about to pin The Miz, Brock Lesnar appeared out of nowhere and pulled him out of the ring.

Following that, Lesnar delivered two F5s to the ‘American Nightmare’ one of which was directly on the announcing table. ‘The Beast’ also challenged Rhodes for a match at Night of Champions which was later made official.

No matter who will walk out of the arena as the winner, one thing is certain their clash in Saudi Arabia is going to be more vicious than Backlash.
