John Cena is beloved by most in the WWE universe, especially because of his impeccable work ethic. But one star on the WWE roster definitely hates Cena immensely. So much so that he always tries putting him down whenever they meet face to face. And now he mocked Cena for a promise he made to London fans.

The last time they met, this 33-year-old wrestler insulted him for taking the spotlight.

Cena mocked as Elimination Chamber is scheduled for Australia

Money in the Bank at the O2 Arena, London in July was really special for UK fans. The reason is that John Cena made a surprise appearance at MITB after more than a year of being absent from the WWE. That’s where he met the ‘Arrogant Aussie’ Grayson Waller for the first time.

Cena entered the O2 Arena to deafening cheers as fans were definitely not expecting The GOAT to be there. To add to their happiness, Cena said that he was trying to get Wrestlemania to London which made fans go berserk! That’s when Waller interrupted Cena and said that Wrestlemania should be held in his home country Australia which made fans boo the Aussie.

Post that he attacked Cena from the back but Waller was put in place with an Attitude Adjustment. Fast forward to September and it was announced by the WWE that Elimination Chamber will take place in Perth, Australia. Waller didn’t want to lose this opportunity to put down both Cena and the London crowd who disrespected him at MITB.

So he posted a statistic on Twitter rubbing it in Cena’s face stating that after he made a promise to London, no PLE has been announced there. But one PLE has been announced in Waller’s home country of Australia. He tweeted, “Since this moment: PLE announced in London- 0. PLE announced in Australia- 1. Suck it John 🇦🇺. Also England you can suck it too”.

We will only have to wait and watch to see how John Cena responds to Waller’s tweet. Maybe one of the reasons he hasn’t responded to Waller is that he has another rivalry to focus on now.

John Cena is preparing to face Uso and Sikoa at Fastlane

This week’s SmackDown started with John Cena and AJ Styles clearly expressing their frustration with The Bloodline. They even went up to WWE authority figure Adam Pearce to set up a tag team match with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.

But just as the contract for the match was about to be signed, AJ Styles was attacked backstage by Uso. If that wasn’t enough, Solo Sikoa destroyed Styles by jumping on him from a height of 15 feet.

Styles was immediately rushed to the hospital while Cena returned to the ring to give The Bloodline a piece of his mind. But eventually, the numbers game prevailed and  Cena was Samoan Spiked by Sikoa twice. Meanwhile, it’s still to be seen who will replace AJ Styles at Fastlane alongside Cena. Earlier speculations were that LA Knight would be the replacement but he has been sidelined due to Covid. With Waller’s burn and no tag-team partner, Cena’s prospects at the upcoming PLE are looking grim.
