Relationships in WWE are ever-changing. Rey Mysterio‘s ongoing storyline and actions in the promotion are live examples. The most recent advancement in this sense has been Mysterio’s dedication to rebuilding his old luchador stable, the LWO or the Latino World Order. Apparently, the team spirit has got his new members hooked already.
One of the team members, Santos Escobar, has recently tweeted regarding the LWO. In his tweet, fans can clearly see his devotion to the team what he did to pay tribute to the faction.

Escobar’s tribute to Rey Mysterio
Inspired by the nWo, Eddie Guerrero led LWO started in 1998 in WCW. The team was composed of almost all the luchadors of the promotion. For starters, LWO had a feud with Rey Mysterio and after the masked luchador lost to Eddie Guerrero, he joined the LWO as well. Eventually, the team fell apart and wasn’t revived in any way for a long time, only for Mysterio to revive it yet again in 2023 by adding new members.
The new members who joined are already part of ‘Legado del Fantasma’. The 39-year-old Escobar has kept his own crew aside to post a tribute to LWO and Mysterio on social media.

The Mexican wrestler posted a picture of his hand adorning an LWO tattoo. Several fans assembled in the comments to give positive feedback to the wrestler. He isn’t the only new member to share a tribute to Mysterio. ‘Queen’ Zelina Vega also referenced Rey Mysterio in one of her tweets recently.
Since all of this is happening after the ‘Legado del Fantasma’ joined LWO, we could say that the new members are enthusiastic about working with Mysterio.
In fact, Escobar’s love for the LWO doesn’t stay limited to his tattoo. The 39-year-old also talked about it publicly.
Escobar expresses what Rey Mysterio’s new team means to him
During the 31st March 2023 episode of SmackDown, Mysterio confirmed that LWO was returning. This skyrocketed a lot of emotions among Mysterio’s fans. However, they weren’t alone, as Escobar shared the same level of excitement.
In a recent interview, he even confessed, “When he told us that it was official and we were forming again the LWO, I couldn’t believe it. Emotions went through the roof.”
