The Real Reason Behind Becky Lynch’s Absence From This Week’s Raw Is Much Different From What You Actually Think

WWE fans have seen several wrestlers being released or walking out of the promotion for a few years. Although it is a normal cycle that every promotion witnesses, fans fear it. This fear exists because fans are afraid of their favorite wrestlers leaving the promotion at any time. Becky Lynch’s fans experienced a similar fear a few days back. The female wrestler was absent from Monday Night Raw last week and she even dropped a cryptic hint about her status with the company. 

Lynch had blacked out her Twitter profile leading to quite a few speculations. Amidst all the rumored disputes between WWE and its stars, fans were worried Lynch had one, too. This was a reason for them to worry because they thought Lynch might also be leaving the promotion soon. However, recent reports suggest a different reason for her absence altogether.

The real reason for Becky Lynch’s absence

All wrestlers are prone to injuries because of their line of work. No matter how big the injury is, wrestling stars are usually able to bounce back into perfect shape. Lynch’s injury started off as a minor one. She had a foot injury, due to which she wasn’t able to play her part on Monday Night Raw. And now, Fightful Select then reported that she has exacerbated the injury.

There are no reports yet about how long the injury will take to heal completely. To ease the fan sentiments, WWE sources also claimed that to their knowledge there are no disputes between Lynch and the promotion’s management.

‘The Man’, like other wrestlers, has also bounced back from several past injuries. Her fans will probably be happy to see her prioritize her health and take appropriate rest. However, there could also be hope among fans to see her back in the ring before August.

Will Becky Lynch be back before the next big PLE?

As reported earlier, SummerSlam 2023 is breaking all records. The ticket sale for the August event has skyrocketed. WWE hadn’t seen 32,000 bookings on day one for any of its PLEs other than WrestleMania. Reports also suggest that Becky Lynch is being set to go up against Trish Stratus at SummerSlam this year.

Considering the scale of the event, Lynch’s fans probably would not want her to miss out on this opportunity.

The Man’s injury makes the chances of the future match uncertain. Neither did the reports shed any light on the cause of the injury, nor did they educate anyone about the recovery period. However, WWE fans should not give up on the match cards because the event is still four months away.
