The wrestling business involves the stars entertaining the fans and earning a good buck as well. And these figures are quite fascinating for fans as well. However, there’s a lot of data out there talking about the superstars’ earnings and debts. But not all of them speak the truth. Therefore, a former WWE Champion burst one bubble while revealing what he owes from Paul Heyman

When one talks about Heyman, it’s impossible to not talk about his biggest venture, Extreme Championship Wrestling. Wrestling fans would be aware of this promotion, which lasted from 1993 to 2001. It gave a platform to several superstars, one being the Hall of Famer, Rob Van Dam. However, toward the end of ECW, a lot of stars left as they were owed money.

Speaking on WrestlingNews Co, RVD was asked to shed light on the figure that Paul Heyman actually owes him. This particular topic came into the discussion when the host mentioned how the legend ranked first in a book that talked about all the money owed to ECW wrestlers. In the book, the figure was $500,000 that Heyman owes to the former World Champion.

RVD then clarified how these figures have never been accurate. Be it about paydays or money that a wrestler made working under a company, it’s never faultless. That being said, the legend first highlighted how he used to get paid under the promotion that rose him to fame. 

He said, “I had a salary, I was getting paid to wrestle. So, every two weeks, I’d get this pretty nice check.Following this, he also talked about the incentives he never received that a wrestler is entitled to. 

But I wasn’t getting the extra incentives, the royalties, merchandise percentage or pay-per-view bonuses. We’re supposed to get a piece of the buy rate, I wasn’t getting that stuff,” the 52-year-old added.

Because of all these, RVD even felt “ the longer I was there, the deeper hole I was digging for myself” by staying longer in the promotion. And even though The Wiseman took pretty good care of him, these incentives that weren’t there.

How much Heyman allegedly owes RVD?

Finally, the three-time world champion revealed a rough figure that Heyman, who announced his HoF induction, owes to him. He said, “The very loose number though was 150 Grand.

So, along with bursting the incorrect figures, Rob Van Dam revealed the actual figure that Paul Heyman allegedly still owes him.
