This week’s WWE NXT put on a star-studded event. Apart from Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley of The Judgement Day, fans also got to see Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and many more making a brief appearance on the screen. But the most talked about appearances were of John Cena and Paul Heyman. Carmelo Hayes had enlisted Cena’s help and he acted as Hayes’s manager for that match. On the other hand, Paul Heyman said that The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns told him to meddle in John Cena’s business. Reigns might have initiated this move in order to scout recruits ahead of his potential match against LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Heyman had other business to tend to at the backstage. Could this mean the manager is looking for new talents to recruit?

Paul Heyman made his presence known by aiding Breakker during his match with Carmelo Hayes. However, his involvement didnt start there. He had spent a significant amount of time backstage, too. Even though the face-off was at the end of the night, Heyman came in early to tend to other business. We saw him talking with Simone Johnson, aka Ava Raine. We saw him sitting on a chair and explaining to her what The Bloodline was. After that, we saw Heyman making a call. There are speculations that this call was to Reigns. But there is no news about what the content of the call. It’s been a long time since fans saw Roman Reigns on the screen. But Heyman has proved to be a loyal Wiseman to him by following all his orders.

Apart from that, wrestling fans saw Paul Heyman in a segment with Bron Breakker. In the gorilla, Breakker was getting ready for his match when The Wiseman bestowed on him with some wisdom. After Heyman motivated him, the 25-year-old star looked ready to take on Hayes. After that, Heyman called Roman Reigns and conveyed to him that the recruit might be ready. Although Breakker was defeated by Hayes and then later choke slammed by The Undertaker, the possibility of seeing him as a member of The Bloodline lies intact.

Even though there is a possibility that fans might get to see either one or both of the stars in the faction, there have been some rumors. There has been speculation that Heyman might have originally wanted to strike a deal with another star on a personal level.

A Paul Heyman girl in the making?

There’s a new popular kid in town and everybody wants to be friends with her. Jade Cargill was signed by WWE on September 26, 2023. Since then, several media outlets have reported that she has been training at the promotion’s performance center in Orlando. Since her signing, she had made only two appearances on live television, and none of her appearances lasted over a minute. We saw her making her way to WWE Fastlane 2023 in her first official appearance. There she was greeted by Triple H and not much was revealed about it. Next, she was seen at this week’s NXT, where she was greeted by Shawn Micheals.

Although Heyman leaving The Bloodline is not on the cards right now, there is a possibility that something like this might happen. Considering his skills over the years, WWE will want Heyman to pair up with Cargill somewhere down the line to see her flourish. And maybe that is the reason why he was present at NXT, to strike an official deal with her in complete secrecy.
