The Bloodline saga continues to deliver brand-new hooks and thrills to the fans who find themselves glued to the iconic family saga. One of the most compelling angles in the faction involved Sami Zayn and had everyone hooked. His involvement initially started as a mere comedy element, but later developed into a deep emotional storyline. Zayn was with Roman Reigns‘ family tree as an honorary member for nearly eight months before he turned on Reigns at Royal Rumble 2023.
He, then, joined forces with his best friend Kevin Owens to take down The Usos last month at WrestleMania 39. Night 2 of WrestleMania saw Solo Sikoa helping the Tribal Chief to retain his coveted Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes. This was thought to be the end of Zayn’s involvement with The Bloodline, but that isn’t the case.

The Usos and Solo Sikoa battled the Owen-Zayn duo along with Matt Riddle in a six-man tag team match at Backlash. However, the match saw Sikoa nearly turning on his own blood.
Many wondered what will be the next dramatic turn in this story. Well, this Friday’s SmackDown episode came up with the much-desired new update. It was confirmed that Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa will face off against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a four-man tag team match at the upcoming Night of Champions PLE in Saudi Arabia.

But what is even more surprising is Zayn’s involvement in the match, after confirming the end of his story with the Bloodline hours ago.
Sami Zayn claimed his insolvent in the bloodline saga is over
Sami Zayn’s rise to the top was mostly because of his alliance with the Bloodline. It made fans more invested and interested in him as an individual character. But now, it seems like the 38-year-old is finally going to cut cords with Anoai’s family.
During a recent interview with Inside the Ropes, the former Honorary Uce of Bloodline confirmed that his story is almost over. However, he termed his journey the greatest learning of his career. Zayn noted, ”It was a blast. Sometimes the hidden laughter, or the clear chemistry between the performers on-screen and all that, it was just kind of a wired lighting-in-a-bottle, perfect stars aligning for these variables to create this thing. So it would be very hard to recreate, but it’s done, more or less.”
