For years, The Bloodline ruled the roost in WWE, as Roman Reigns and his cousins- Jimmy and Jey Uso- hoarded all the golds. However, with time, the stable has weakened and isn’t in the shape it was a year ago. On the other hand, The Judgment Day is giving fans a sense of déjà vu with their run. On the heels of their fabulous outing at Payback, Rhea Ripley took a shot at Reigns and Jey Uso.

The Australian pro wrestler and her team cut a promo on the September 4 episode of RAW, where Ripley took the shot at the stable.

If there is more than one of anything, there’s bound to be a comparison. In the WWE, as stated above, The Bloodline arguably had a peerless run for months.

Now, The Judgment Day is playing the right moves to be the spiritual successor of Reigns and Co. Led by Finn Balor, the group comprising Ripley, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio, has proven themselves a straight menace. They have been terrorizing opponents for some time now. And with The Bloodline going through an implosion, this is the perfect opportunity for them to step up.

However, according to Ripley, they have arrived already. “The Bloodline has fallen, and The Judgment Day has risen as the most dominant faction here within the WWE,” she said during the promo. This was delivered just minutes after Jey Uso made a return to RAW, having quit SmackDown a few weeks earlier.

To her credit, all The Judgment Day members possess one or more titles. While Ripley herself is the Woman’s World Champion, Balor and Priest hold the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Mysterio is the NXT North American Champion. With multiple golds, there’s no doubt the noise from the group will only go up in the coming weeks.
