‘The Biggest Scandal of The Day’: Famous Comedian Grills Paris Museum Over Dwayne Johnson Wax Figure Controversy, Trolls Them For Making The Rock Look Like Mr. Clean

Dwayne Johnson has been in the news for the last 2 weeks for a rather embarrassing reason. So Johnson’s wax figure was unveiled at the renowned Musée Grévin in Paris. Despite this being an honor, the wax figure was not well accepted by Johnson’s fans. They were quick to point out that the skin color of the statue was too white, thus drawing lots of criticism online.

Now a renowned talk show host has given her views on the goof up. According to her, this was the biggest scandal of the day!

Even Dwayne Johnson was not pleased to see his wax figure. He made it clear on Instagram that his team was going to reach out to the Grevin Museum in Paris. He added, “So we can work at “updating” my wax figure here with some important details and improvements- starting with my skin color”.

The Grevin Museum did try its best to rectify its mistakes by working overnight. But even after the correction to the skin color, the updated wax figure still received a lot of flak from his fans.

Now renowned comedian and talk show host Sherri Shepherd has given her comical views on the entire incident.

On a recent episode of her daytime talk show Sherri, she showed the picture of the wax figure to her audience saying, “We have to address the biggest scandal of the day”. She then went on to poke fun at the figure just like everyone else.

She said, “Somebody wrote in there, they said ‘that’s not The Rock, that’s the pebble’, that’s what they said. And a lot of people compared the figure to The Rock’s co-star Vin Diesel saying that looked more like Vin Diesel. I don’t know, it don’t look like Vin Diesel to me, that wax figure looks like Mr. Clean. That’s who that looks like.”

This competition was started in the year 2022. The Grevin Museum would ask people online to cast their vote for their favorite star to be featured at the museum.

Obviously, Johnson won that competition easily this year because of his immense global popularity, taking up 48% of the votes. The other stars on the list were Ariana Grande, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Elon Musk, Selena Gomez, Lupita Nyong’o, Chris Pratt, and Margot Robbie.
