The Act of Ultimate “Savageness” by NXT Star Towards Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio Makes Fans Lose Their Mind- “10 Second Dom”

The latest edition of NXT Heatwave saw Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio team up against Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria. The night did not quite turn out the way Judgment Day expected. In fact, Ripley and Dom were even savagely roasted in a backstage promo by Mustafa Ali. Ali’s wisecrack sparked a huge reaction from the WWE Universe, while Ripley and Dom were left dumbstruck. 

Mustafa Ali came remarkably close to clinching the NXT North American Championship title at the Great American Bash. Evidently, Ali seems determined to recover from this setback by playfully mocking Judgment Day and possibly aiming to earn another opportunity for a rematch. So, what did Mustafa Ali say to Dom and Rhea Ripley?

Judgment Day has been constantly making appearances on NXT for the past few weeks. It all began with Dominik Mysterio winning the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee. Even in the triple-threat match at The Great American Bash, Dominik managed to retain his Championship with a little assist from Rhea Ripley.

While the couple was getting ready for their tag team match on NXT, their preparations were disrupted behind the scenes due to an unexpected appearance by Mustafa Ali. The 37-year-old star wished them luck for their match, saying, “Break a leg”. Ali then relayed that he meant what he said in a literal sense, as NXT deserves a fighting Champion. 

The next moment, Dominik Mysterio responded, stating that he did not care much about NXT and that he only cared about making Rhea Ripley happy. Subsequently, Rhea Ripley warned Mustafa Ali and gave him 10 seconds to exit the room. Before Ali left the room, he said, “Just 10 seconds? Sounds like something you guys are used to.”

As mentioned, Ali’s off-color humor left Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio looking at each other without so much as saying a word. Anyway, we will have to wait and see if Dom and Rhea Ripley respond to Ali’s dig at them in the weeks to come. 

Dominik may be addressed as “10 Second Dom” for the rest of his heel career

The night went from bad to worse for Rhea Ripley and Dominik after the duo lost their tag team match against Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria. During the closing moments, Rhea Ripley intercepted a hurricanarana from Valkyria. Ripley then drove Valkyria to the barricade. 

As the Women’s World Heavyweight Champion began to climb her way into the ring, she was caught off guard by Raquel Rodriguez. At this point, Dominik was distracted, allowing Dragon Lee to capitalize and pick up the win for his team. Anyway, what happened earlier backstage was, hands down, the highlight of the show. Here are some reactions from the fans.

If the WWE starts addressing Dominik as “10 seconds Dom”, Ali would become Dominik’s enemy for life.

Come to think of it, WWE has started developing Ali’s character by involving him in a lot of backstage segments.

Nonetheless, we can expect something to develop between Ali and Dominik soon. It will be interesting to see what happens next time Ali meets Dom and ‘The Eradicator’.
